Welcome to the official website of the Danish Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons – Dansk Selskab for Oral og Maxillofacial Kirurgi (DSOMK).

DSOMK represent Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Denmark and cooperates with the National Health Board in matters concerning the speciality. Furthermore DSOMK is involved in the postgraduate education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which is based on a single-degree in dentistry in Denmark.

The hospital departments are based in Odense, Esbjerg, Aalborg, Aarhus, Køge/Næstved and Copenhagen.

Furthermore two university departments are located at Dental Schools in Aarhus University and Copenhagen University.

The board of DSOMK consists of seven members. Our chairman is Dr. Henrik Nielsen, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Copenhagen University Hospital.
